Celebcity: Ross enjoys a mexican and Eubank chimes in on his son

Wossy in town
TV star and Brighton enthusiast Jonathan Ross clearly enjoyed an Easter trip down to our (surprisingly) sunny city last week. Tweeting from our good neighbour, and Mexican restaurant extroadinaire, Wossy excitedly exclaimed ‘Just had a FANTASTIC Mexican meal at La Choza in Brighton. Muy Caliente’ before posting a picture of one of La Choza’s trademark skeleton mugs. As regulars to the awesome eatery we’re glad to see it’s pulling in the celebrity visitors already. Keep up the good work!
Third time lucky?
Don’t panic! Alex Reid has used his expert opinion to muse on the latest Katie Price marriage – this time to new hubby and soon to be baby-father Kieran Hayler – and has finally concluded that this one “could last”. Talking to Closer magazine, Alex’s riveting interview discussed his own marriage with the page 3 star and entrepreneur. Alex explained that getting pregnant was Katie’s ‘top priority’ and therefore she might stick with the latest virile offering. “If she’d got pregnant during our marriage, I think we might still be together,” Alex continued.
Supposedly, he hasn’t quite taken into account Ms Price’s personal attacks following their very public fallout, which made it very clear that Katie had no interest in Alex for several reasons (Roxanne anyone?). Katie and Kieran are expecting their first child in the summer and have just celebrated their marriage for a second time in Somerset. Third time lucky?
New world champion
The Lord of the Manor of Brighton – aka boxer and monocle enthusiast Chris Eubank – has appeared in the papers again recently, this time showing support for his son’s “decision” to follow in his father’s footsteps as a ‘warrior’. Chris Jnr, Eubanks eldest child, has already proven to be a promising middleweight and now his second son – Sebastian – looks set to take on the boxing world.
Eubank explained to The Telegraph: “I believe, once Sebastian puts his blinkers on, he will breeze this. He has a mentor in me, directing him. Make it easy for yourself. Put yourself under the greatest pressure you can. If you lose, you do so with dignity, grace, like a man. That is a champion.”
The verbose patriarch, who was once named ‘the world’s second most eccentric celebrity after Björk’ by the BBC, insists that it’s his ‘duty’ to make ‘not just world champions,’ but ’undisputed champions.’ He continued: “Then I must make sure they get close to, and finally surpass, my 19 world championship wins. In four years’ time, Sebastian will be heavyweight champion of the world.” No pressure then, kids.
Eubank finished by saying: “You have to earn your right to be a man of the community, to be looked up to. It’s about kudos. You have to earn it.” Amen to that, Chris!
Self service
So perhaps our Brighton bad-boy Frankie Cocozza isn’t looking to clean up his act any time soon… The Woodingdean resident – who was notoriously booted from The X Factor amid hard partying and drug allegations – is now being investigated by police for possible theft! CCTV footage appears to show the hair raising reality star leaving a local shop without actually paying for the items (a bit of booze specifically – well, natch).
The Sun reported that Cocozza repeatedly keyed in his PIN number at the self-service machine before walking off. As such the police, who were called in by wary store staff, have questioned whether the misdemeanour was a “genuine error or shoplifting incident”. The Celebrity Big Brother star’s agent has denied that Frankie had any involvement in the alleged event – watch this space to see whether Cocozza’s bad boy ways have come back out to play!
