Brighton car park operator gives £8k to sick children’s charity

The biggest private car park operator in Brighton has donated £8,000 to the Rockinghorse children’s charity.

NCP handed over the money as part of a year-long partnership aimed at helping sick children in Sussex.

As well as raising money for Rockinghorse, the company has also tried to raise awareness of the charity’s work by putting banners on display in its Brighton car parks.

Rockinghorse is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

The charity is also a supporter of the Trevor Mann Baby Unit which is based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

It raises money for life-saving and cutting-edge medical equipment while ensuring children are treated in an environment that is better suited to their needs.

Chris Jackson, business manager at NCP Brighton, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been involved with such a worthwhile local cause and to raise such a brilliant amount of money for Rockinghorse.

“Our customers have given us great feedback on how much this charity means to them and they are delighted at how much we’ve raised for the charity.”

Analiese Doctrove, Rockinghorse’s corporate fundraising manager, said: “NCP’s support has been outstanding over the year, not only because of the financial support they have given but also because of the enthusiasm of their staff and the promotion they have provided.
