Flathampton
Bus stops, bus drivers, a journalist, a DJ, a cook, a bank teller, a doctor, a clothing shop sales assistant; these and other delightful characters form the basis of a non-stop tour of Flathampton, a make believe land where everything is flat, and therefore a bit dull and, well…. silly! That is, until the children get stuck in, re-constructing the town and re-energising it, flatpack style. Held in the spacious Corn Exchange, this production works well particularly with those with an extra gene for enterprise and fun! Even for those a little shyer, the enticement of creative play and much fun is eventually irresistible – the Flathampton actors were certainly too friendly and playful to be denied. Even some of the adults present were joining in.
