Cassus: Knee Deep

Circus is hot and can be exciting, but it can also be a dull display of physical strength agility and expertise. Not so with Cassus who take all that and instill it with humour, emotion, wit and eroticism. Their show encompasses all that, moments of delightful wit, playful intimacy and intense and charged human interaction. The audience lapped it up and thank you to the member who screamed at the right moments thus enhancing the sense of danger and drama. The four performers executed the show with such precision that it had all the right elements of circus thrills, but they also filled it with a sense of humanity pushed to extremes rather than just bodies. And the show flew by, leaving the audience standing in ovation and baying for more.
