Have you seen missing Portslade teenager?
A 16-year-old girl from Portslade has been missing since Tuesday (8 October).
Harriet Wells-Town left her home on Tuesday evening and is thought to be in the Brighton and Hove area, Sussex Police said.
She is known as Harry or Harrie to friends and police have issued a picture of her as concern grows for her welfare.
She was described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of heavy build, with shoulder-length straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black top.
Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “While there is currently no evidence that Harriet has come to harm at this stage, we are naturally concerned because of her age and vulnerability.
“We have been making inquiries through the city and anyone who sees her or knows where she might be is asked to call us.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 or email contact.centre@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
