Missing Portslade teenager found safe and well

A teenager who went missing from her home in Portslade last week has been found safe and well.

Harriet Wells-Town, 16, was last seen at her home a week ago on the evening of Tuesday 8 October.

Sussex Police said on Friday (11 October) that she was thought to be in the Brighton and Hove area.

The force released a photograph of the teenager – known as Harrie or Harry to her friends – and publicised her disappearance.

It said that she was found safe and well in Brighton and Hove on Saturday (12 October).

Sussex Police said: “News media are thanked for their assistance.”
