Art at Five
On a wet and windy Friday night, Brighton’s most successful contemporary art gallery, Art at Five, hosted a 10th birthday party and private view. With delicious canapés courtesy of Moksha caffe, wine from Barefoot wines and a fantastic Choccywoccydoodah birthday cake, the gallery was packed to the rafters with the great and good of Brighton’s art world, friends and family. To mark the occasion, gallery owner Paola Calise devised the idea of a charity art raffle called ‘Ten for 10’. Ten of the galleries artists donated beautiful paintings to be raffled off with all proceeds going to Brighton water aid charity drop4drop. As guests enjoyed the art and the refreshments, Paola thanked everyone for helping make the evening a success, also revealing a brand new identity for the gallery, now named Art 5 gallery, to take her into the next 10 years!
