The Whitehawk Wordsmiths Anthology Reading

This event is an annual fundraiser for the Whitehawk Inn and was jam-packed with local talent. Allana hosted the evening and was on stage throughout, introducing fellow performers and delivering her own work. There was a richness and diversity rarely seen in each and every performance. To name but a few, Dermot read his three poems including ‘Ballard Of Treasure Island’, Michelle Lunn gave a stunning performance of her touching piece on an overworked doctor, and Zeena – also performing her own work – changed from belly-dancer to cab driver before the audiences eyes. A fantastic evening.
