Missing man may be in Brighton, police say

A missing man may be in Brighton, according to police who are concerned for his welfare.

Sussex Police said that officers were concerned about 44-year-old Barry Birch who has gone missing from the Downham Market area of Norfolk.

Mr Birch is known to have connections in Brighton and has not been seen or heard from since Friday 27 December.

He was described as white, 5ft 8in tall and of slim build. He has hazel eyes, is usually clean shaven and has short, light brown hair. It is not known what he was wearing.

He has failed to attend several pre-booked medical appointments and has health concerns.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who believes that they may have spotted a man matching Mr Birch’s description or who has information about his current location.
