Health & beauty news & reviews for spring/summer
Celebrity handbags
Brighton-based charity, Handbags For Hospices, has announced the launch of their pop-up shop in House of Hoye from Thursday 1 May, raising funds for hospices all around the UK. Through many handbag auctions the charity raised over £15,000 last year and are determined to beat that number this year.
Handbags set to be auctioned off have been donated from celebrity supporters, including Davina McCall, Elizabeth Hurley and Millie Mackintosh, with more to be revealed on the run up to the night! The first event was in Brighton in 2012 and raised £2,000 for The Marlets Hospice in Hove and have since held many events across the South East and rest of the UK.
Grab your best girlfriends and head down to the House of Hoye and bid for a beautiful handbag over a glass of wine or a traditional cup of tea and help the UK hospices in funding their projects.
