Russell Kane – Manscaping

A whirling dirvish of comedy, observations and analysis, Russell Kane is aware of his contradictions, surroundings and audience, kicking off proceedings with a blur of improvisation and audience interaction that dazzled the brain and engaged a plethora of laughter reactions. This chap has funny bones and the energy of a five year old having eaten an entire packet of Jaffa Cakes. Ostensibly this show was about male preening and Kane’s difficult 2011, but with his own distractions of the evening proving engaging and at points hilarious this show was patchy in a way that was good throughout but at others excellent.
