Woman robbed after gang attack on Brighton seafront
A woman was robbed after being knocked unconscious by a gang of men on Brighton seafront.
The victim was attacked by a group of three or four men between the Volks Tavern and Concorde 2 in Madeira Drive, Brighton.
She was knocked to the ground and robbed before being helped by people passing by. Her attackers fled.
The incident took place at about 3.30am on Saturday April 5 but officers have just released details.
PC James Botting, of Sussex Police, said: “I am trying to identify a group of two women and three men who were near the Volks Tavern at about the time of the attack.
“The men were all of mixed race. Two were wearing black hooded tops and one was wearing a grey hooded top.”
