David Wilson Homes support singer/songwriter in album launch
Staff member Danica Trim is a singer/songwriter and is excited about the release of her very first solo album, Chasing Life, which will be officially launched in the summer. Danica has worked at DWH for fifteen years and has been kept very busy in her role as Sales Office Manager, which involves liaising with solicitors and buyers to progress sales for properties at sites throughout the Southern Counties. Danica said: “I have enjoyed singing since childhood and began working on writing original songs in 2008. I have been influenced by a wide range of artists including Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd, to The Beatles and contemporary Arabic music; sort of a combination of pop with en element of folk.”
Danica is now working closely with Max Hunt, a professional session musician and producer, and has been airing some of her songs in unplugged live performances. Danica added: “I am donating £2 of the profit for each album I sell to SSNAP (Support for the Sick Newborn & their Parents), a charity based in the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford supporting the Newborn Intensive Care Unit – one of David Wilson Homes’ many worthy charities.”
MD Paul Crispin said: “We wish Danica every success in her other career and our team is delighted to ‘sing’ her praises.”
