Miles ahead with Eco technology Show
See the future of electric cars – and take one for a test drive at this year’s Eco Technology Show
The Eco Technology Show returns to Brighton again this summer, with a focus on the practical benefits of innovation and low carbon solutions. Speakers at free workshops and over 140 exhibitors will be giving visitors practical ideas on how they can use innovation in technology and low carbon solutions to save money at home and at work. Now in its third year, The Eco Technology Show is firmly established as the UK’s premier event showcasing how embracing innovation in technology and low carbon solutions can save money and delivers genuine benefits to communities, businesses, and cities on-going.
The 2014 event has attracted Greg Barker, Minister of State at the Department of Energy & Climate Change as a keynote speaker. The 2014 Show focuses on: energy use, build, transport, technology and resource efficiency. A special attraction will be the transport zone, a whole floor of concept cars and vehicles: headline debutants include BMW’s electric i3 and i8 hybrid supercar, Mitsubishi’s Outlander – the world’s first plug-in SUV, and the ground-breaking Tesla Model S and a range of electric bikes.
Visitors to the Eco Technology Show will be able to test-drive some of these vehicles along Brighton seafront, while learning about sustainable fleet solutions in seminars and networking events. Nicola Gunstone, commercial director at The Eco Technology Show comments: “Eco tech is no longer on the margin – it’s mainstream business now. Everyone wants to be up to date with the latest ideas – and the best of them will all be under one roof in Brighton this June. “A visit to The Eco Technology Show will be a day well spent.”
The Eco Technology Show will be open from 9.30am-5pm on Thursday 26 June and 9.30am-4.30pm on Friday 27 June. Registration is free. Further information can be found on www.ecotechnologyshow.co.uk.
