John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers were a classic blues band which acted as a kind of rock school for ’60s music legends. Those who passed through the ranks include Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood. This week sees the release of John Mayall’s umpteenth solo album, A Special Life. Now in his 80s, the godfather of British blues seems to be slowing down a bit. He’s setting off on a European tour, playing a mere 59 shows in 64 days. What a slacker! He’ll be coming to the UK in October, but in the meantime we’ve got five copies of the album to give away. For your chance to win, all you need to do is tell us:
