Three more people charged over March for England in Brighton
Three more people have been charged with offences alleged to have been committed during the March for England and counter-protest in Brighton in April.
Sussex Police said the three people were
- Scott Horwood, 49, a welder, of South Terrace, Littlehampton, who has been charged with common assault. He is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 3 July.
- Adam Barr, 22, of no fixed address, who was charged with assaulting a police officer. He is due to stand trial on Monday 11 August.
- Richard Kemp, 39, of Gibbet Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire, who was charged with using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause those persons to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them. He is due to appear for trial on Thursday 14 August.
