Misfits

There is no shadow of a doubt that Misfits still have a cult following – their ghoulish style and rockabilly/punk riffs bring music lovers out of hiding far and wide when they are on tour. The first thing that grabbed my attention when walking into Concorde 2 was how much merchandise they had. Misfits are known for their variety of merch, and I myself own a decent amount, but to travel across the country with that much seems a bit excessive. And they were wearing their own t-shirts on stage. Make of that what you will!

One thing this band do have is longevity. Despite numerous lineup changes over the years, they have lasted the distance and still have avid fans. The first sing-a-long classic was ‘Scream’, followed by numerous favourites and some tracks from the last two albums. They still deliver a fast-paced and entertaining show, but a two hour set did seem to drag on for far longer.
