Three men charged with burglaries in Brighton and Hove
Three men are due to appear at Lewes Crown Court charged with burgling properties in Brighton and Hove.
Sussex Police said that the three men were arrested as part of Operation Magpie, the force’s crackdown on burglary.
They are
- Andrew Herring, 24, of no fixed address. He has been charged with breaking into properties in Wilmington Way, Brighton, on Tuesday 10 June and Doods Park Road, Reigate, on Wednesday 4 June. He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday 10 July.
- Mark Thursting, 51, of Easthill Drive, Portslade. He has been charged with breaking into a property in Ingram Crescent West, Hove, on Tuesday 17 June and an attempted burglary in Wish Road, Hove, on Tuesday 17 June. He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday 10 July.
- Glaister Duncan, 47, of Montpelier Crescent, Brighton. He has been charged with a burglary in Lewes Road, Brighton, on Monday 23 June. Duncan was also remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court.
