Bus driver attacked by cyclist after Hove altercation
A bus driver suffered head injuries after being attacked by a cyclist in a suspected road rage incident.
Emergency services were called to New Church Road at 1.10pm on Wednesday (June 25) to reports of a cyclist assaulting a bus driver.
It was reported there had been an altercation between a bus and a bike.
Officers said the cyclist smashed the window of the bus then attacked the driver.
He then rode off in the direction of Portslade.
The cyclist is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a dark blue suit and carrying a leather shoulder bag. The bike he was riding was a white racing style bike.
Police said the bus driver suffered a head injury and was treated by paramedics.
