Sussex Kurdish community rally against Islamic State militants

Dozens of Kurds protested in Brighton as a sign of solidarity to oppressed minorities around the world.

The rally was organised by the Sussex Kurdish Community at a time when their friends and family were under threat in northern Iraq and Syria.

Politicians including councillors Bill Randall and Graham Cox were amongst those supporting the cause.
