Brighton hit and run driver hunted by police

A hit and run driver who left a woman injured after a collision in Brighton is being hunted by Sussex Police.

The force said: “Police are investigating a hit and run collision in Hollingbury, Brighton, which left a woman injured.

“Two black cars collided causing one to spin on the A27 eastbound slip road from Coldean Lane at 9.10am on (Monday) 13 October.

“The driver of the Peugeot, a 30-year-old woman from Worthing, suffered minor injuries and extensive damage to her car. The driver of the other black car drove off.”

Detective Constable  Jason Daily said: “I want to trace the driver who left the scene.

“Anyone who saw what happened or has any information that will lead us to identify the driver and find their car is asked to contact police.”
