An evening with Peter James

International best-selling crime fiction writer Peter James will be sharing anecdotes about his life as one of Brighton’s most famous sons, over dinner at The Grand on 12 February.

The evening with Peter James is hosted by the Mayor and Mayoress of Brighton, Councillor Brian and Mrs Norah Fitch, and is one of a series of Mayor’s Events that will raise money for local charities. This year, The Argus Appeal, The Martletts Hospice and BHT are the beneficiaries.

Peter is much in demand as an after dinner speaker around the world, talking to lawyers, policemen and private investigators, and an evening spent with him promises to give new insights into the minds of criminals and the people who catch them.

Peter’s books will be available for purchase and signing.

Tickets £45 including dinner and wine are available online via the council website: visit www.brighton-hove.gov.uk and search for Mayors’ Charities.

Amazing grace
Following the nationwide critically acclaimed hit premiere stage production of Peter James’ The Perfect Murder earlier last year, the best-selling work of the No.1 novelist returns to the stage in 2015 with the adaptation of his most famous and popular book to date, and the first book that featured James’ now famous character of Detective Roy Grace – Dead Simple. You can catch it at Brighton’s Theatre Royal later in February.
