“Potty” – new green traffic-calming measures introduced in Brighton

There’s a new form of traffic calming measures in Brighton’s streets – pot plants.

These huge black containers were installed along Viaduct Road, off Preston Circus, Brighton, to remind motorists to slow down.

Council officials added it was a temporary measure to highlight the residential nature of the street

But motorists are far from happy – with some claiming it was dangerous as it forced cars to swerve.
