John Lloyd – Emperor Of The Prawns

John Lloyd is arguably one of the most influential people in modern comedy, whilst also being one of the least recognisable. The producer and creator of such comedy landmarks as Spitting Image, Blackadder and QI was unassuming, playful and full of not just incredible facts but also, more importantly, stunningly remarkable questions. More a lecture/presentation with teasing snippets of the personal to illustrate than traditional stand-up, Lloyd tickled minds to open like oysters, leaving us bedazzled by the wondrousness of ignorance and intrigued to start discovering. A treat that everyone deserves to see.
