Disco Pigs

Utilising an initially indiscernible invented dialect, Disco Pigs is the tale of two pseudo-siblings who craft their own universe of disco music, television and violent outbursts towards the rest of the world. The genesis of such a lifestyle becomes more apparent as the story moves forward and ‘Runt’ starts to wonder about the potential for meeting other people, much to ‘Pig”s dismay. Ciarán Owens and Amy Molloy were both sensational; Molloy exuding a sensitivity and vulnerability compared to Owens’ fiery temper and aggression. A dark, funny, bewildering little odyssey that hurtled along at an exhilarating pace.
