A Christmas Carol

Box Clever’s delightful interpretation of Charles Dickens’ classic festive moral tale of facing the past and learning the hard way was given a new lease of life. Using simple costume, scenery and only three actors, it introduced the story in a very accessible way, deliberately introducing it to a younger audience.

Sean Kearney’s Scrooge was very sensitively portrayed as he went on his journey from “bah humbug!” to a very festive, jolly character. He was beautifully aided by Charlyne Francis and Jessica Dennis, who not only played all other characters, but got the audience involved in their festive storytelling.
