Man found guilty of manslaughter of University of Brighton student
A man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of Brighton student Janet Müller.
Christopher Jeffrey-Shaw, 28, of Lakeside, Beckenham, Kent, had denied murdering the 21-year-old.
The University of Brighton student from Germany had received treatment at the Mill View mental health unit in Hove.
The court heard how Jeffrey-Shaw picked up Muller from the unit in March.
Her body was then found in a burned out car in Crawley.
A jury found Jeffrey-Shaw not guilty of murder but guilty of manslaughter following a trial at Guildford Crown Court.
He will be sentenced on Friday.
