Brighton’s oldest gay pub given late licence reprieve
The city’s oldest gay pub will be allowed to continue opening late – providing it installs an ID scanner.
The Bulldog in St James’s Street had it’s late licence revoked after a string of incidents at the venue.
Sussex Police said it was concerned at the health and well-being of those visiting the pub.
Following review, the venue will now stay open till 1am Monday to Thursday and 4am Friday and Saturday.
