Christian O’Connell

Radio DJ Christian O’Connell entered the stage, leather-clad and promising to talk about about the unkind Tweets and letters he received from fans over his time on radio. A great concept, causing a titter of excitement from the audience at the thought of watching Christian brazenly become the fall guy at the hands of his listeners. However, the audience were taken off on a wide range of tangents, listening to many well-written, but slightly aged gags. The audience gave timely laughs, as Christian has stage presence and expert timing. Sticking to the unique concept of reading out insults from listeners, however, would have had us laughing far more heartily.
