The Last Tango
Beloved Strictly professionals Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace are retiring from touring with this farewell show, which whirls through loosely linked love scenes framed by an old man reliving memories. The elaborate production involves numerous props: a growing family is represented via cradles, prams and bikes on stage for less than a minute. Highlights include Cacace’s impatient paso doble solo to a ticking clock, Rebecca Lisewski singing Raise the Roof while being swung around, and the ensemble’s high-energy group routines. The couple’s final showstopper, with Flavia sparkling like a mirrorball, is a breathtaking flurry of impossibly intricate spins and kicks.
