Earth

Support act Mount Eerie performed incredibly immersive, soulful poetic songs at a crawling pace on a 12-string electric guitar that were beautiful and moving. Earth, on the other hand, lumbered along in a much less sublime way, playing slowed-down Neil Young-style jams fused with drone metal. They did have an interesting set up of cello, drums, and guitars however, and there were occasional moments where my head did bob in appreciation of the slow building guitar movements. As a newcomer, perhaps I was missing some rewards that repeated listens might yield, but the gig was simply dull and I was keen to go home.
