Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure
Lots of fizz and energy is this revival of the Stiles & Drewe classic play. What really makes things soar is boatloads of charisma and humour from the cast. Matthew Chase is an attractive Pan, equally petulant and fun loving, and special mention goes to a chameleonic Laurel Dougall as a Darling mother and a dynamic huntress. Beverley Grover’s lighting design is gorgeous, while the puppetry by Matt Rudkin and Daisy Jordan shows great wit: the crocodile is a particular highlight. The younger cast are uniformly brilliant, with very clever performances. Second to the left, and straight on ’til July 9th.
