Latest TV: Get ready for the Big Brighton Film Challenge, screening at Latest Music Bar
The Big Brighton Film Challenge, is an annual film event with the purpose of creating the biggest and best short films in Brighton and Hove, giving people the opportunity to network as well as encouraging more film-making in the city.
Last week was the launch of the film challenge at Latest Music Bar, which attracted filmmakers, writers and actors/actresses from across Sussex. Small groups were created and given the task of making a short film of no longer than ten minutes.
To make things a little trickier the filmmakers are only allowed to film outside, in and around the city of Brighton and Hove.
The groups have been given until 4th November to complete and submit their short film, at which point a screening will be held in order to determine our first grand champion filmmakers.
Everyone is welcome to watch the screening of the films, which will be held on Tuesday 8th November, 7pm at Latest Music Bar. The best films will be made into a programme named Big Brighton Film Challenge and shown on Latest TV.
The event is free of charge, so if you have a passion for film why not come along and see what some of the city’s brightest budding talents can produce? See you there!
