British Airways i360: Christmas season begins with ‘Starry Nights’ shared parties & BMW electric car showcase

Christmas party season is well upon us at British Airways i360 and we hosted our first festive party on 25th November. We are expecting around 3,000 people to join us for a Christmas party this year. The ‘Starry Nights’ shared parties have proved a real hit including a flight onboard the BA i360. There is still some availability if you haven’t yet made plans for your office party.

This weekend we were showcasing the BMW i3 electric car. This is the first type of product showcase activity like this we’ve done. Visitors have been able to climb into the car parked in front of our beach building and also try it out in a free shuttle service in the local area.

BMW also had hit squads all over the city over the weekend offering people a free BAi360 flight coupon if they take a test drive.

The car is a great fit for our sustainability aims as an organisation. Not only is it emission free but the interior is made from renewable natural fibres and wood sourced from 100% FSC®-certified forestry. A further 25% recycled plastics are used in the exterior. Impressive!
