Police find computer thieves getaway car in Hove

Police hunting raiders who targeted a computer shop in Hove on Sunday (4 September) have recovered a car which they believe was used by the offenders.

Two men, their faces covered, entered the Solutions Inc store in Old Shoreham Road at about 4.25pm.

They grabbed two Apple Macbook computers from a display and damaged another in an unsuccessful attempt to pull it from its security device.

They escaped in a red Vauxhall Corsa which was later found abandoned in Moyne Close, Hangleton.

The first man is believed to be white, about 6ft tall and of average build.

He was wearing a grey hooded jumper and jeans, a black balaclava and gloves.

The second man is also believed to be white. He is about 5ft 9in tall and of average build.

He was wearing a navy hooded jumper and jeans.

His face was covered by a black scarf and he was also wearing black gloves.

The shop was raided in similar circumstances on Tuesday 9 August when two men in hooded tops escaped with two computers.

Anyone who saw either incident or the men and the car in or around Moyne Close after the raid on Sunday is asked to call Sussex Police on 0845 6070999.
