Pedestrian seriously injured in hit and run on Brighton seafront
A man suffered serious injuries on Brighton seafront after being hit by a car which failed to stop.
The man, a pedestrian, was hit in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 18 September) in King’s Road, Brighton, between the Palace Pier and West Street.
The incident happened at about 4.20am and Sussex Police said it involved a small red car heading west along the seafront road.
The car, possibly a Peugeot, was damaged in the collision.
Sussex Police said that witnesses should contact the force on 0845 6070999 as should anyone who spots a car that fits the description and shows signs of recent damage.
