What’s been your career highlight?
Attending the UEFA Cup draw in Monaco, after Millwall qualified
in 2004.
And your worst career moment?
Relegation – again with Millwall; losing!
What other sports do you play or are you interested in?
Tennis and skiing.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
Never accept the words “no” and “can’t”.
If you could live anywhere in Sussex where would it be?
Brighton.
Where do you actually live?
Woking, Surrey.
If your house was burning down, what one possession would you save?
Apart from my family and the dog, it would be a poetry book owned by my grandmother, a present on her 18th birthday.
Where do you shop in Brighton & Hove?
I buy all my suits from Profile in The Lanes.
What was the last book you read?
The Ghost by Robert Harris.
Do you have a favourite Brighton restaurant?
Donatello does wonderful pasta!
What is your favourite holiday destination?
Marbella.
How do you relax when not at the club?
By reading the papers in bed!
What are the most-listened to songs on your iPod?
Something by Rod Stewart – probably ‘Handbags and Gladrags’ or ‘Reason To Believe’.
What car do you drive?
Mercedes E class.
What’s the most expensive thing you’ve ever bought?
My house.
