It’s the Wheel deal as Brighton’s latest attraction opens

The Brighton Wheel opened for business today (Saturday 22 October).

Queues formed on a bright and sunny day, with the 36 ferris wheel gondolas or pods providing protection from the chilly breeze.

The wheel is 150ft high and offers rides lasting about 12 minutes, which involves the wheel going round three times.

The basic prices are £8 for an adult and £6.50 for under 16s. Family tickets and other special deals are available. The wheel is open every day from 10am.

It is sited at Dalton’s Bastion in Madeira Drive, about 100 yards east of the Palace Pier and almost opposite Terraces bar and restaurant.
