Three Brighton men arrested at Lewes Bonfire
Three men from Brighton were among 15 people arrested at the Lewes Bonfire celebrations on Saturday (5 November).
A 20-year-old was arrested for assault causing actual bodily harm. He was bailed until Monday 5 December.
Another 20-year-old was arrested for having class A drugs with intent to supply. He was been bailed until Thursday 9 February.
A 21-year-old Brighton man was cautioned for having class A drugs.
The 15 arrests were made from among more than 60,000 people who were estimated by Sussex Police to have attended the event.
About 33,000 of them travelled by train to Lewes, with well over half of those having set off from Brighton and Hove.
A smaller number made their way to Lewes from Brighton under their own steam as part of a bike train, using the cycle lane alongside the A27.
