Wave: A relaxing haven awaits down Brighton Marina at the newly opened Spa Tara
Spa Tara is now open down Brighton Marina, joining the ever expanding parade of boutique shops, restaurants and range of leisure activities on offer. Situated by Brighton’s very own Walk Of Fame, next to outlet clothes store Pilot, Spa Tara is a welcome addition to the Brighton Marina landscape, offering a relaxing haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
People choose Brighton Marina as a shopping destination because of the free parking, laid-back atmosphere and outlet store prices. It’s so easy to grab a bite to eat at one of the number of restaurants and cafés, browse the shops and art gallery, or go and see a film at the nearby cinema. And now, with the addition of Spa Tara, Brighton Marina is a place for health, beauty, rejuvenation and relaxation.
Inside Spa Tara
Spa Tara covers huge ground floor premises next to the Seattle Hotel, so what could be better than a weekend away, enjoying a relaxing therapy at Spa Tara before heading to your room at the hotel next door? With its space and convenient location, Spa Tara is perfect to unwind with friends in the run up to Christmas parties, or enjoy a relaxing hen day. There is even a double therapy room, which is perfect for couples. The oriental décor, low lighting, dark wood, and comfortable reception area is welcoming. The premises has been transformed from its original incarnation as a clothes store. It’s been painstakingly and stylishly refurbished over the last four months to create the ultimate spa haven, fulfilling the vision of Kai, the owner. The therapy rooms are beautiful, the treatments are of high quality and the team are polite, friendly and professional. What more could you want from a spa visit?
Foot notes
For the Christmas party season ahead, The Ultimate Manicure and Pedicure are the perfect treatments. If you have a hectic month ahead of Christmas shopping, entertaining and partying, an hour of having your feet pampered is definitely in order. After a five minute consultation for new clients, the treatment begins: feet are washed in gold bowls (with the surrounding décor, you will feel like royalty). Nail polish colour is chosen before a warm eye mask, scented with relaxing lavender, lets you tune out. Feet are scrubbed, and nails are filed and shaped in a wonderful routine that you don’t want to end. Dry skin is moisturised, tired heels are massaged, and then nail colour is applied (that will look perfect with those peep-toe heels this Christmas). While the colour dries, a head and shoulder massage provides the perfect end to a relaxing therapy.
It’s only when you stop and put your feet up you realise the stress and strain you put your feet through. Stop and unwind at Spa Tara and avoid a burnout this Christmas.
