Humble Quest For Universal Genius

What a delightful evening! Mark Allen hosted his competition searching for a peer for Michelangelo, ably assisted by the chiefly mute but visually impactful Eli Silverman. Launching the evening in its new home of the Komedia studio bar, the event saw a home special of Hove vs Brighton in the guises of the most excellent Simon Evans vs Zoe Lyons, each hailing from the previously mentioned city regions. With rounds such as ‘hunting’, ‘wit’, ‘poetry’ and ‘etiquette’, the fun was fast-paced and never stopped, squeezing everything it could comedically from the smuttily posh Evans and the dappily inspired Lyons. A marvellous framework for a fabulous laughter- and intelligence-filled evening.
