Vive La France – Transformer DJs, Sing Sing My Darling, Justine Taton, Phoebe Killdeer and The Short Straws

It was another fantastic night as some of France’s most exciting exports descended upon Brighton’s shores.

Newcomers Sing Sing My Darling delivered a sanguine set of very promising sparkly indie-pop with ‘Disco Love’ and ‘Let Me See Your Cherries’ getting a great response.

Justine Taton played a decent collection of soulful numbers whilst Brighton-based French act Transformer kept things ticking over with their genre-defying DJ skills.

But it was the captivating Phoebe Killdeer and The Short Straws who really stole the show.

Killdeer’s sultry bluesy vocals and an all round stunning performance made this the stand-out performance of the festival.
