“I came down to support the Health and Wellbeing Centre because when I played for Brighton and Hove Albion in 2008 I became friends with the club doctor, Tim Stevenson. Now, along with the superb stadium, there is this great development which puts the Albion at the cutting edge of modern football. What is special about the centre, beside the staff and state-of-the-art facilities, is that it offers a wide range of services to local people and businesses. It is not just for the players but it’s open to everyone in the community.”

Celebrity footballer and Strictly Come Dancing favourite Robbie Savage came down to his old club, Brighton and Hove Albion, to lend his support to the new Health and Wellbeing Centre run by Doctor Tim Stevenson and his team. Robbie and other club supporters, including Des Lynam and members of the current team, were in attendance at the centre’s launch at The Amex Stadium. In keeping with the club’s community-based ethos, the centre is open to all and offers first aid training, therapies, life coaching and stress management, as well as private GP services.
