Hove teenager arrested for having stolen mini motorbike

A teenager from Hove has been arrested after being found with a stolen “mini moto” off-road bike at the weekend.

The 14-year-old, from Hove, was held on suspicion of handling stolen goods and released on police bail until Sunday 4 March.

Sussex Police has released a photo of the mini moto in an attempt to find its owner.

The bike was found in Poplar Avenue, Hangleton, on Sunday (5 February).

A spokesman for the force said: “At this time we do not know who this bike belongs to and we are anxious for it to be returned to its rightful owner.

“Anyone who thinks the bike is theirs is asked to contact police on 101.”
