Fire crew tackle flooding at Hove house

Firefighters turned out to tackle a flood at a house in the Hangleton area yesterday (Sunday 12 February).

The flooding had affected the electricity supply at the property in Stapley Road in the Knoll Estate, causing concern.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received a call out shortly after 11.30am after water was seen pouring from the property.

A fire and rescue crew from Hove Fire Station, near by in English Close, attended and isolated the electricity supply.

Having made the area safe, they left the house just after 1.15pm.
