Road Closures for Brighton and Hove’s Half Marathon this Sunday

The Brighton and Hove’s Half Marathon organised by the Sussex Beacon takes place this Sunday 19 Februry. The race starts and finishes at Madeira Drive covering 13.1 miles of seafront and city centre. Madeira Drive will be closed from 4am to 4pm.

The race proceeds north along Marlborough Place/Gloucester Place, then turning south at St Georges Place. This area will be closed at 8.30am, and will reopen at 9.40am. The race will then proceed east at the aquarium roundabout along A259. Just before Greenways, the race will turn west back to the aquarium roundabout. This area will be closed at 9.40am until 11.30am. The final area the race will proceed to is Wharf Road which will be closed from 11.30am to 1pm, and the race will then return to Madeira Drive.
