Asian Dub Foundation

Asian Dub Foundation have had their ups and downs since bursting onto the scene with their politically-infused lyrics and genre-defying beats back in 1995. But their live reputation coupled with last year’s return-to-form ‘A History Of Now’ had fans coming out for what felt more like an underground gig than a club night.

Taking to the stage at midnight they smashed through a high energy set with tracks spanning their nine albums including ‘Fortress Europe’, ‘Flyover’ and ‘Urgency Frequency’.

The explosive show, a combination of sharp delivery and Asian-flavoured rhythms, definitely made this ‘audio-visual sound system show’ worth staying up for.
