Lord Of The Flies
In truth there wasn’t really anything I disliked about the show, it just didn’t excite me all that much. The story (of a group of boys stranded on a desert island and their struggle to survive) cuts at the very core of humans’ basic animal instincts: a sense of order, social structure and the need to eat and therefore hunt. The descent from bullying to something altogether more horrific/tribal was performed adequately enough, however some of the actors were so muscular I couldn’t possibly believe they were boys. Could of done without the interpretive dancing too. Lighting and set pretty good though.
