Dreamcoats And Petticoats
It would take the coldest of hearts not to be smiling and tapping your feet by the end of this nostalgic juke box musical. It has a playlist of hits, a cast of superb performers, singing, dancing and playing all the music live, and an audience chomping at the bit for a good night out, which they all seem to have had. And I would number myself amongst them but for one thing. This show has the thinnest plot and worst script of anything I have seen on stage for some time. If they had ditched the story and simply played the songs and danced I would have been much happier but such a great cast deserved better material. So for the script no stars, but for the company… they are all stars.
