This week: Charlotte Elizabeth, Brighton Marathon runner for The Whitehawk Inn
I hate running and most forms of exercise but when I was offered the chance to enter the Brighton Marathon to raise funds for The Whitehawk Inn, I felt such a desire to do so; I received a very privileged education myself and wanted to help an organisation that works so hard to provide opportunities for people to receive an education that they might not otherwise have access to. I couldn’t possibly have done it though without the help of my trainer Adam Kann of Fizeek who is amazing!
Charlotte Elizabeth graduated from Roedean Girls’ school in Brighton and has a passion to give the youngsters in nearby Whitehawk access to a good quality education. Sponsored by Brooks trainers, she is now preparing to take part in the 2012 Brighton Marathon – a 26-mile run which kicks off at Preston Park on 15 April. She hopes to raise £3,000 which will go to The Whitehawk Inn, the community organisation providing opportunities and education in the Whitehawk area.
